Castellgalí, Barcelona
In a lot with a steep slope toward an optimal climate orientation and with spectacular views of the mountains of Montserrat, the approach was to partially burry the structures of the two houses up to the street level, creating a garden on the roofs. This approach eliminated the structures’ potential visual pollution on the natural environment.

The central areas of the houses integrate the interior and exterior and provide continuity -kitchen-dining area-den-pool, which allows for a full enjoyment of the unique climatic and visual forms from all the rooms of the houses.
