Torrelles de Llobregat

One of the main objectives of the proposal presented is to preserve the lot’s environmental quality. The general layout of the structures tries to avoid the harmful effects of massive construction that is formally rigid, repetitive and with a conventional urban structure.

The goal is to place the building in a manner that its parallel structures will adapt to the horizontal strata of the site.

Also, the floors are pushed back in order to achieve better views, more privacy, increased sunlight and use of natural lighting.

The interrelationship established between the building and the vegetation reduces the impact on the landscape and creates the effect of fragmentation. This effect reduces the scale to a more organic integration of the structure as a whole.
